Refund policy
At ReconX, we are committed to supporting our customers even after their purchase. This After-Sales Service Policy sets out our rules, commitments, and procedures to ensure you have confidence when buying from us.
Warranty & Guarantees
30-Day Commercial Warranty: All airsoft guns purchased from ReconX are covered by a 30-day commercial warranty from the date of delivery.
- This covers manufacturing defects and faults that prevent the product from functioning as intended.
- To remain valid, the gun must be kept in its original condition. If the gun has been opened, modified, or had parts replaced, the warranty will no longer apply.
- This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or normal wear and tear.
Statutory Consumer Rights:
In addition to our commercial warranty, customers may also benefit from statutory consumer rights that apply in their country of residence:
- European Union: Customers are covered by the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity, which protects against goods that are faulty or not as described. If a defect appears within 2 years of delivery, the customer is entitled to free repair, replacement, or, if those are not possible, a refund.
- United Kingdom: Customers are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which entitles them to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.
- Jersey: Customers are protected under the Supply of Goods and Services (Jersey) Law 2009, which provides similar protections requiring goods to be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.
Limitations: Statutory rights do not apply where faults are caused by modifications, non-approved parts, or tampering. If the product has been opened or altered in a way that reasonably relates to the defect, the guarantee will not apply. If the defect is proven to be unrelated to the modification, statutory rights may still apply.
Returns & Exchanges
- We offer a 30-day return policy, along with the 14-day cooling-off period for customers in the European Union.
- Items must be returned unused, in original packaging, with proof of purchase.

Repairs & Maintenance
- After the 30-day commercial warranty period, customers may request paid repair services.
- Repair costs will be quoted individually and must be paid before work begins.
- Repairs are only carried out if the product is in its original condition. If the gun has been opened or had non-approved parts fitted, we cannot accept it for repair.
- We do not currently sell spare parts directly but can source certain components on request (see below).
Customer Support & Service Commitments

- We aim to respond to all queries within 2 business days.
- Refunds are typically processed within 10 business days after approval. Depending on your bank, it may take up to 15 working days for funds to appear in your account.
Spare Parts & Accessories
- While replacement parts are not listed on our website, we can sometimes source spare parts by pre-order from our suppliers.
- Customers must pay in full before parts are shipped.
- Accessories and additional equipment can also be ordered if available from our suppliers.
- Please contact us with your specific request, and we will confirm availability and lead times.
Exclusions & Limitations
The following are not covered by our after-sales services:
- Products damaged due to misuse, neglect, or accidents.
- Items modified, opened, or fitted with non-approved parts, where such modifications reasonably relate to the defect.
- Consumable items such as batteries, gas, or BBs.
- Pre-loved (second-hand) items.
